Preparing for Inspections
Before you go ahead and organize an inspection with a potential customer, there are a number of things you need to get done and organized. The first of which is to prepare the paperwork. The trick is that you need to always be ready for the buyer and be ready to sell the car there and then!
There have been countless times where a potential buyer has turned up with an offer and cash ready, but the paperwork wasn’t, so instead of wasting the buyer’s time while you search and print the appropriate paperwork, you delay the sale to the next or another day. In fact, rarely has a buyer returned the next day to purchase the vehicle if you have delayed them. Most of the time, the buyer replied to me the next day saying they bought another car!
